Bayleaf Kitchen

I visited with my friend, we had a great time there. The food was amazing, very authentic Indian taste. I'm definitely coming back for more. The service is very polite, welcoming and attentive.

Food was absolutely amazing, chicken was beautifully cooked. 10/10 would recommend the chicken tikka madras! Service was exceptional - the staff even noticed my son take off his jumper and asked if we would like the air con above us switched on for a little while, and then kept checking in to check we weren’t too cold. Little noisy but it was a busy Saturday night in the city centre. Will definitely be returning if in the area!

Deva good! A really classy little Indian cuisine restaurant. Easily found on walkable High Street. We arrived early for dinner midweek so no reservations were required. Service was friendly and prompt. The food, the food, the food!!! OMG, did I say how good the food is?? We were only in Southampton for two days and we went here twice! I think my favorite thing was how much joy the food gave to me.

Had an excellent meal this evening, visited with the family for my birthday meal. Had some beautiful curries and excellent food all round. The manager/server suggested some more authentic dishes based on what we ordered for us to try and guaranteed if they weren’t better than our previous choices he’d replace them at no cost. These suggested dishes were exceptionally delicious! Outstanding service and great food! Thanks again

Great food. Service was a little slow as they were full but guess that's to be expected. We had booked but got seated a bit late due to how busy they were. Took around 50 mins to get our mains (we didn't have starters). But we weren't in a rush so just enjoyed chatting. The food itself was great. Nice portions and decent price. Came to £30 each with 2 beers per person and sides. (£26 without a tip). Would visit again, perhaps when a little less busy .

Whether dining in or ordering online, the quality stays consistently high. With my busy life, I often end up ordering at the very last minute, and every single time Bayleaf Kitchen shows me real care. The food tastes like comfort after a long day, and their kindness means more than they know. I truly appreciate them highly recommended from the heart.

Absolutely excellent meal at Bayleaf. We were staying 1 night in Southampton and looked for a local restaurant. Bayleaf ticked all the boxes, most of all there are so many Indian dishes that we had never seen before. I had a Tamarind chicken which was delightful. It has a deep sweetness from the tamarind and tomatoes and a nice kick. My wife had a duck dish which was exquisite and another dish we had never tried before. Great service from nice staff 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
